NEW: ME SENSE Yacht Monitoring
Now providing Bluetooth functionality, it is possible to run the new TRX3-S as the center part of the ME SENSE yacht monitoring system. All sensor data will be collected via Bluetooth and the new TRX3-S is routed to the WLAN network of the marina or to the WLAN network of your own LTE router. So the TRX3-S is the new gap-closer between your vessel at the marina and you at home using the ME SENSE App. Keep an eye on your boat in combination with ME SENSE.
NEW: WiFi - Always inside
The new TRX3-S always has the WiFi module inside, so it is ready to forward all received NMEA data to a wireless connected terminal device like tablet or smartphone or to a chart plotter.
SOTDMA – no position report gets lost
Based on AIS Class B SOTDMA (Self Organized Time Division Multiple Access) technologies, the easyTRX3-S is transmitting with higher priority. The transmission slots for the next 4 transmissions will be reserved automatically. Even in areas with high traffic volume, the easyTRX3-S is always able to send out position reports because SOTDMA has got the priority to regular AIS Class B units using CSTDMA (Carrier Sense Time Division Multiple Access). By means of SOTDMA the easyTRX3-S is able to do higher transmission rates to enhance the visibility of the AIS position reports on AIS capable systems and screens.
Integrated GPS Source
The built-in GPS antenna increases the independence of mounting the easyTRX3-S device aboard. Only power supply and VHF connectivity is needed. This is very convenient for all the fiberglass and wooden hull vessels. An external GPS Antenna can be connected if nessessary.
Integrated active VHF antenna splitter
The default built-in VHF splitter enables the user to use VHF radio and AIS with the same antenna. No separate installation needed. A pre-amplifier reduces physical loss to the minimum.
High connectivity
The easyTRX3-S comes along with a huge range of connections by default. 1x NMEA2000, 1x NMEA0183 (In/Out) as well as 1x USB ports are ready to go.
