A starry sky for all weathers
Even when it’s raining, a clear starry sky unfolds above your head. With a span of over 1 metre, it is the world’s largest rotating star chart – yet compact enough to fit in a pocket. As with our tried-and-tested cardboard star charts, the dates and times are marked on the edges of the ten segments. This means you can always see when and where each constellation is in the sky. All the constellations visible in Central Europe are shown. The white stars and lettering glow in the dark and look particularly impressive under UV light, for example with a black light lamp. The sturdy frame withstands not only rain but also wind.
Opening the automatic umbrella: Press the button on the handle to open the umbrella. Make sure you keep a safe distance from other people, especially children, and animals.
Closing the umbrella: Press the button again to close the umbrella. Only then push the umbrella completely together by hand.
Using the star map: To find constellations, tilt the umbrella to the south and rotate it so that the current month and time are at the bottom edge.
