About us

Established in 1902 by Captain Jannssen Cassens in Bremen and expanded to the production site in Bremerhaven in 1972, today more than 30 employees work her on precision devices.

Our nautical precision instruments, including magnetic compasses or sextants, are carefully hand-assembled, adjusted and tested in Germany. They are subject to a continuous quality standard which makes our product portfolio unique.

In 2014 the company Zöllner, under the responsibility of CEO Dr. Philipp Murmann, took over the manufacturing site of Cassens & Plath.
