Practice Bubble Horizon
This artificial training horizon allows observations with the sextant at a non-visible horizon or on land.
This device is not suitable for navigation means.
The artificial training horizon is placed on the sextant instead of the normal telescope. On the right side, one looks over the sextant mirrors to the star and to a horizontal line.
For observation the user holds the sextant vertically as usual. A dragonfly bubble must lie next to a horizontal line. The star is also centered on the horizontal line. For sun observations it is the lower rim.
